I’m sooo excited to be part of this new line that Summerside is presenting. My new book, Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA, is set in 1879 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I won’t tell you more until I have permission, but I can say that you’re going to LOVE this new series of romance books! Miralee Ferrell

My book “Love Finds You in Miracle, Kentucky” will be released in October. My readers will not be disappointed! Here’s a blurb:

“Anything can happen when you live in Miracle…” After her life in Chicago falls apart, Meg Jorgenson arrives in the small town of Miracle, Kentucky, with plans to start over. She moves in with a grandmother she barely knows and takes a teaching position at the local elementary school. Meg soon garners the interest of Miracle’s eligible bachelors, but it’s eight-year-old Cammy Bayer who instantly wins her heart.

Vance Bayer has always made Cammy his first priority. Though delighted by the attention his daughter receives from her pretty new teacher, the shy widower is embarrassed by Cammy’s not-so-subtle attempts to play matchmaker.

Both Meg and Vance want the best for Cammy, but will they see eye-to-eye when it comes to an experimental surgery that might grant Cammy the use of her legs? Will they open their minds to the miracle of healing and their hearts to the miracle of love?

I’m looking forward to being part of the Summerside Press team. My first book with Summerside will be Love Find You in Valentine, Nebraska. This is a contemporary romance with light suspense. I was also privilegwed to be on the launch team when my first inspirational romance was published by Thomas Nelson in August, 1984. More later.

    Rachel,
I’m interested in knowing more about the love finds you series and how to submit a proposal. I’ve read the guidelines and noticed that you have a list of possible small towns. I’d be interested in writing something specifically for the line.

  7. Hi Rachel,
I just recv’d Andrea’s email about her forthcoming title, which included a link to your site. As a member of the Chicago Writers Ass’n & its 200+ members, & editor of the CWA CLARION newletter, I’d appreciate you sending me a Summerside Press™. PR that i can submit to CWA members & post in a future newsletter, at no cost, of course.

God bless, Walt McElligott, Beecher, IL

PS. Our revised website archives may not yet include CWA CLARION newletters, a situation currently being corrected. Please request a copy of the July issue & i’ll be happy to send it.
    Walt

  11. Gayle says:

Just read Hope in Kansas. I enjoyed the book very much but was amazed at how it paralleled “The Sound of Music” from the first meal together to the music not in the house, to Tucker being called ‘incorrigible’. Didn’t know you could do that!
